As a Service Technician for Rotoweld, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of automated welding equipment. The role involves frequent travel (40-80 days per year), including international assignments, to ensure optimal machine performance and high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to welding and equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience as a service technician or 3-5 years as a pipe welder with MIG, or as a welding supervisor.
• Bilingual (English and French).
• Proficient in using Windows and other software.

The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the engineering group, which encompasses the disciplines of mechanics, electronics, physics, and software. The candidate will work closely with members of the Rotoweld’s multidisciplinary team (service, sales, manufacturing, and assembly) to fully understand the market needs and design improvements required to ensure that the Rotoweld remains the benchmark welding robot for the piping industry.

Under the supervision of the Head of the Mechanical Department, he/she will be involved in all phases of product development, from concept generation, part design, prototyping and testing, right through to product deployment.

We are looking for an experienced Electronics/Electrical Design Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience and be registered (or eligible to be registered) as a full-fledged engineer with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. This position will focus primarily on analog and digital printed circuit board (PCB) and printed circuit board assembly (PCA) design, which will occupy around 50% of working time. In addition, you will be involved in the integration of printed circuit boards into electrical systems. Knowledge or interest in embedded programming is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities :

• Design, development and validation of printed circuit boards (PCBs and PCAs) for industrial applications;
• Electrical design of printed circuit board integration into products (wiring diagrams).
• BOM management and selection of electronic and electrical components.

• Identify the causes of failures and make the necessary improvements and corrections.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Registered engineer (or eligible to be registered) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Three (3) years experience
• Relevant experience in printed circuit board (PCB) and printed circuit assembly (PCA) design.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical design software (Fusion, Autocad Electrical, or equivalent).
• Ability to work in a team and solve complex technical problems.
• Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and FPGA programming or interest in developing skills in these areas.

As a Welder Assembler at Tecnar, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of metal parts using high quality welding techniques. You will work closely with our production team to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and welding instructions.
• Prepare metal parts for welding by cleaning, adjusting and positioning them correctly.
• Effectively operate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.
• Perform high quality welds following required procedures and specifications.
