Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Electronic/Electrical Design Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and be registered (or eligible to be registered) as a full-fledged engineer with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. This position will focus primarily on the design of analog and digital printed circuit boards (PCBs and PCAs), which will occupy approximately 50% of the working time. In addition to this, you will be involved in the integration of printed circuit boards into electrical systems. Knowledge of or interest in embedded programming is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and validation of printed circuit boards (PCBs and PCAs) for industrial applications;
  • Electrical design of the integration of printed circuit boards into products (wiring diagrams).
  • Management of bills of materials (BoMs) and selection of electronic and electrical components.
  • Monitoring the production/manufacturing and quality control of printed circuit boards.
  • Determining the causes of failures and making the necessary improvements and corrections.
  • Documenting processes and writing technical reports.

The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the engineering group, which encompasses the disciplines of mechanics, electronics, physics, and software. As a Development, Innovation and Support Engineer – Robotic Welding, you will play a central role in the development of our fully automated welding robots, while providing high-quality technical support and proactive customer relations. You will be the technical link between our internal teams and our customers, contributing to Rotoweld’s success with the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and innovation:
    • Lead initiatives to make our welding solutions fully automated.
    • Conduct scientific research to further our understanding of welding technologies.
    • Stay abreast of technological advances and new practices related to welding.
    • Identify and propose innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

Under the supervision of the Software and IT Manager and with the support of an external IT consultant with significant career experience, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and developing our internal technology infrastructure.

Marketing

We are looking for a marketing and content project manager to support the rapid growth of its Rotoweld division, a world leader in pipe welding robotics. Reporting directly to the marketing department, you will play a strategic role in promoting the brand and executing international campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

Marketing project management

  • Plan, organise and execute Rotoweld marketing campaigns (product launches, events, web, social media).
  • Ensure consistency in the branding and positioning of the Rotoweld division.
  • Coordinate projects with internal teams (sales, engineering, service, management) and external partners.

Content creation & management

  • In collaboration with the technical team, write and produce content: LinkedIn posts, case studies, technical articles, web pages, brochures, videos.
  • Oversee the creation of visuals (graphic briefs, videos, photos, animations, print advertising).
  • Ensure the SEO optimisation of Rotoweld.com and digital campaigns.

Digital marketing & campaigns

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation or project management.

Reading and technical interpretation

  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and mechanical drawings.
  • Understand wiring diagrams for microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, PIC, etc.) and PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.).

Material preparation

  • Select the required cables, connectors, terminal blocks, protections, power supplies, and components.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and prepare conductors according to standards.
  • Prepare and organize the workspace and tools (crimping pliers, soldering iron, multimeter, screwdrivers, etc.).

Assembly and wiring

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to technical drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams.
  • Adjust, align, and assemble mechanical parts (bolting, screwing, tightening, etc.).
